The Lucky Shot

I had been taking pictures the whole day. For some reason, I was not feeling the assignment. I mean, try shoot papyrus and the sanitary pads that are made of of them. But towards the end while shooting at the actual swamp, I saw this guy moving with his papyrus and panga. I knew this was it. I followed him and called out, “ssebo” (Luganda for ‘sir’ or the equivalent). when he turned, I started shooting away. And this was my lucky shot of the day.

Rainbows are forever

I shot this image at the spot where Murchison Falls starts. Our guide assured us that rainbows are part of the scenery here. One is likely to find multiple rainbows at this spot anytime of the day.
